Saw The Avengers today. Terrific summer flick. Top 5 superhero movie. Some thoughts: -Captain America is a total badass fearless leader. Corny as hell, but inspirational. -Iron Man almost overdid the arrogant, nonchalant billionaire genius. Almost. -Thor showed up better than he did in his own movie. Thank God…Asgardian or otherwise. -I wish I had my own Mjolnir. - Can we stop shuffling through Bruce Banners? Mark Ruffalo was perfectly acceptable. -Hulk smash! I love that big green bastard. -Black Widow? One word: booty. It’s kinda all I noticed. -Hawkeye was more difficult to like than he should have been. Not Jeremy Renner’s fault, though. -What the fuck does Nick Fury really do? -I couldn’t stop admiring Loki’s mullet. Perfectly coiffed. -Lotta shit got destroyed. High quality decimation. -Robin Scherbatsky? Really?

I love that David Wright earned the nickname Captain America for how hard he plays the game of baseball, what an outstanding role model and leader he has been and his zeal to represent the United States of America.
